Once again Amber Harris was a hit at our final in-school of the year. She portrayed Coretta Scott King, and taught each and everyone of something we didn't know before! She always has kind, positive and MOTIVATIONAL things to say. Students don't hear enough positive things in there lives. I wish I had a larger group that could have heard her speak today. Thanks for all you do- you are truly making a difference, one performance at a time!

Amber volunteered to be a speaker at the Northmont Middle School bi-annual RESPECT day. This is a day when 7th and 8th grade students immerse themselves in the idea of respecting one another in all areas. Amber did multiple session with the students and received rare reviews!!! You know she has "star appeal" if she can keep middle school students engaged!!!! Thanks for your willingness to help out, Amber!!

Amber's performance was wonderfully moving, funny, instructive, just great. She was well received by students, too. Combining singing, acting, and storytelling was very effective. We don't have her scheduled for next year, but are already looking forward to having her again. Melinda White French and Journalism Teacher Northmont High School

As a dear friend, who just happened to be visiting, I truly enjoyed Harriet Tubman. The passionate betrayal of Ms. Tubman as performed by Ms. H. was spell bounding. If you want to be blessed, this performance is a must see, the gifted acting and annointed singing is guaranteed to touch your soul....

This was our second event with Amber Harris. (Last year, she presented Rosa Parks.) This year, her characterization was Harrit Tubman. The entire student body attended the program in honor of February's Black History Month. The students and staff truly enjoyed the performance. Many of them commented that Mrs. Harris brought the character to life, and that they had learned many details about Harriet's life that are not always in the history books. They also felt that Amber's beautiful singing voice added so much more to the theatrical flair, and her gift as a storyteller. We would love to have her back for another presentation.
